داروهای گیاهی و میوها بیشتر گیاهان (سبزیها و میوهها) به علت فیبر و الیافی که دارند،
باعث کاهش کلسترول و تریگلیسرید خون میشوند...
البته تأثیر گیاهان در کاهش چربی خون یکسان نیست، تأثیر برخی از آنها بیشتر است و به دلیل خاصیتی که در کاهش کلسترول و تریگلیسرید خون دارند، برای تهیه دارو استفاده میشوند.
بین گیاهان، سیر بیشترین قدرت را در کاهش کلسترول و تریگلیسرید خون دارد و بیش از 100 صنعت داروسازی در دنیا از سیر، فرآوردههای دارویی تهیه کردهاند. سیر علاوه بر کاهش کلسترول و تریگلیسرید، خاصیت ضدمیکروبی و ویروسی دارد و فشارخون و قندخون را کاهش میدهد و خون را رقیق میکند.
