عوامل تغذیه ای که سبب پیشگیری از سرطان می شوند عبارتند از:

یک سوم از کل سرطان های دنیا با حفظ وزن مطلوب، تغذیه صحیح و نکشیدن سیگار قابل پیشگیری است. ارتباط بروز سرطان با مصرف برخی مواد غذایی به عنوان عوامل پیشگیری کننده یا بازدارنده بیانگر نقش کلیدی تغذیه در ایجاد و یا پیشگیری از ایجاد سرطان است.

عوامل تغذیه ای که سبب پیشگیری از سرطان می شوند عبارتند از:

- آنتی اکسیدان ها: این مواد گروهی از ترکیبات در غذاها هستند که رادیکال های آزاد را در بدن از بین می برند یا مانع از شکل گیری آنها می شوند. رادیکال های آزاد عامل ایجاد سرطان هستند. گروهی از ترکیبات در مواد غذایی هستند که می توانند رادیکال های آزاد (که عامل ایجاد سرطان و بسیاری از بیماری های دیگر است) را در بدن از بین ببرند و یا مانع از شکل گیری آنها شوند. مهم ترین آنتی اکسیدان های بدن ویتامین های C,E,A، کاروتنوئیدها، سلنیوم، روی، منیزیم و لیکوپن هستند.

- برخی منابع غذایی غنی از ویتامین C: مرکبات، فلفل سبز، توت فرنگی ، گوجه فرنگی و کلم بروکلی.

- منابع غذایی غنی از ویتامین E: ذرت، مغزها، زیتون، سبزی های برگدار و سبز، روغن های گیاهی و سبوس گندم.

در قرن حاضر با توجه به سرعت توسعه در ابعاد تکنولوژی و دست یابی به ابزارهایی که در جهت رفاه و سرعت ابداع و اختراع می شود یک عوارض خاصی که در ساختار شیمیایی  و فیزیکی ما پدید ار میشود و سرعت ان موجب نا توانی سلولهای جسم ما است ... برای مثال یکی از تولد های نا رس و پیش از موعد و یا ساختار دی ان ای حالت جهش می یابد و نا هنجارهای روحی که بصورت ژن خفته ای است در مدت زمان کم بروز می کند . فاصله گرفتن از تغذیه های طبیعی

و این روند تغذیه  یا در عمر  خود و یا در ژن های ما تاثیر بسزایی خواهد کرد .

که کما بیش در دو ده اخیر شاهد گزارشهایی از نا هنجاریهای روحی و فیزیکی تولد ها از سایر گوشه کنار جهان هستیم...

بس تا می توانیم  در بقا خود  دقت نظر داشته باشیم.  به هر حال این پر واضح است که ادمی بقا نامحدود ندارد ولی باید کار کند که در اندک بقا که تعریف شده برایش  بتواند با سلامت روح و روان  و جسم خوب زندگی کنند...

آنتی اکسیدان ها

آنتی اکسیدان ها ترکیباتی هستند که اثرات زیانبار رادیکال های آزاد را خنثی می-کنند و واکنش های زنجیره ای رادیکال های آزاد را در بدن متوقف می کنند، ‌دستگاه ایمنی را به شدت تقویت می کنند و می توانند روند پیری انسان را به خوبی معکوس کنند.
همه ی افراد به آنتی اکسیدان ها نیاز دارند اما بیماران بیشتر و بیمارانی که با بیماری‌های گسترده و پیش رونده دست و پنجه نرم می کنند بسیار بیشتر. آنتی اکسیدان ها باید بتوانند انواع رادیکال های آزاد را از بین ببرند.
رادیکال های آزاد سه گروه اصلي هستند،رادیکال سوپر اکسید که با آسیب زدن به میتوکندری سلول توانایی تبدیل غذا به انرژی را از سلول می گیرد و سلول می میرد. رادیکال هیدروکسیل که به آنزیم ها، ‌پروتئین ها و چربی های غیراشباع سلول حمله می کند. رادیکال لیپید پیروکسیل که با واکنش‌های زنجیره ای در غشاء سلولی غشاء را متلاشی کرده و سلول با بیرون ریختن مواد خود می میرد. در بدن بیماران سرطانی انواع رادیکال های آزاد جریان دارند و آنتی اکسیدان های زیادی برای نابود سازی آنها نیاز است.

Researchers Design Alzheimer’s Antibodies

Researchers at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have developed a new method to design antibodies aimed at combating disease. The surprisingly simple process was used to make antibodies that neutralize the harmful protein particles that lead to Alzheimer’s disease.

The process is reported in the Dec. 5 Early Edition of the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). The process, outlined in the paper, titled “Structure-based design of conformation- and sequence-specific antibodies against amyloid B2;,” could be used as a tool to understand complex disease pathology and develop new antibody-based drugs in the future.

Antibodies are large proteins produced by the immune system to combat infection and disease. They are comprised of a large Y-shaped protein topped with small peptide loops. These loops bind to harmful invaders in the body, such as a viruses or bacteria. Once an antibody is bound to its target, the immune system sends cells to destroy the invader. Finding the right antibody can determine the difference between death and recovery.

Scientists have long sought methods for designing antibodies to combat specific ailments. However, the incredible complexity of designing antibodies that only attached to a target molecule of interest has prevented scientists from realizing this ambitious goal.

The new antibody design process was used to create antibodies that target a devastating molecule in the body: the Alzheimer’s protein. The research, which was led by Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering Peter Tessier, uses the same molecular interactions that cause the Alzheimer’s proteins to stick together and form the toxic particles that are a hallmark of the disease.

“We are actually exploiting the same protein interactions that cause the disease in the brain to mediate binding of antibodies to toxic Alzheimer’s protein particles,” Tessier said.

Alzheimer’s disease is due to a specific protein – the Alzheimer’s protein – sticking together to form protein particles. These particles then damage the normal, healthy functions of the brain. The formation of similar toxic protein particles is central to diseases such as Parkinson’s and mad cow disease.

Importantly, the new Alzheimer’s antibodies developed by Tessier and his colleagues only latched on to the harmful clumped proteins and not the harmless monomers or single peptides that are not associated with disease.

Tessier and his colleagues see the potential for their technique being used to target and better understand similar types of protein particles in disorders such as Parkinson’s disease.

“By binding to specific portions of the toxic protein, we could test hypotheses about how to prevent or reverse cellular toxicity linked to Alzheimer’s disease,” Tessier said.

In the long term, as scientists learn more about methods to deliver drugs into the extremely well-protected brain tissue, the new antibody research may also help to develop new drugs to combat disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease.

The research was funded by the Alzheimer’s Association, the National Science Foundation (NSF), and the Pew Charitable Trust.
